One of the websites Scott Matusow runs is called MakePokerLegal and on his site you can play poker for free and win prizes and (small amounts of) cash. It’s also one of the only places you can play Royal Holdem (the version of Texas Holdem where only the cards T, J, Q, K, A are in the deck). I’ve been playing some of small tournaments there in the last few days and today I won a 136 person tournament to get an entry to a $500 tournament.

ReplyDeleteSorry, by small amounts of cash I just meant that the individual tournaments were for the most part low prize pools from $25 to $1000. The sum of all those amounts is I'm sure very large. I just wish the client would get some updates--resizable tables, tables that can be moved to a second monitor, etc. It's definitely a great place for folks to play who don't wish to spend any of their own money or who wish to join the vip level for $4.99 a month to get rid of advertisements.
ReplyDeleteOh and let me correct myself on the $4.99/month level that you also get to play in additional tournaments that amount to an extra $20k in play per month and get additional benefits as well :)

Also nice is the two $100 daily tournaments.
